Guidelines for Handling Supernatural Incidents

Late one night, the apartment building where Xia Mi, a civil service exam candidate, lives is suddenly shrouded in darkness. The residents of the same building all turn into monsters. Xia Mi becomes the only normal person in the entire building, surrounded by these creatures.

She soon realizes that reality is exactly the same as a horror single-player game she had just played—every place where she died in the game corresponds to the same dangers she now encounters in real life. Guided by the game’s hints, Xia Mi successfully escapes danger. Because she saves the neighbors in the entire building, she is recruited by the state and becomes a member of the Special Incident Handling Bureau, obtaining an official position.
